Problem:
there are 36,000 people suffering
from oral/lip cancer in U.S. each year. Conventional
radiation therapy and surgery takes 6 weeks and over
30 therapy sessions and often results in severe side
effects requiring additional patient care. Solution:
we have developed a novel cancer
treatment technique that combines synergistic
effects of Local UHF HyperThermia
and Electrophoresis Treatment (LUHTET)
in one small, yet powerful device. When used with
conventional therapy LUHTET allows lowering
radiation dose by 50% thus markedly reducing the
number o treatments and lowering the chance of side
effects and scarring. The result is a win-win
situation: patients benefit from improved healing
time and reduced discomfort; physicians and
hospitals gain from improved efficiency; insurance
